When the person you're talking to click on your name and hypotheoretically read the message you sent her, a small logo "Seen" appears under your words.

It has been the reason of a few breakups, suicides and uninvited sexual intercourses.

A term used to greatly annoy your friends when you are left on read on popular social media sites, such as facebook or others that indicate when the message recipient has read your message but fails to respond.

You: 2:11PM: Hey did you see that new movie yet? Want to go next week?

Friend: 2:15PM: * left on read *

You: 5:27PM: Seencucked again

Friend: 5:34PM: Seriously, dude? I was at work and apparently made the mistake of opening your message before responding. You're worse than my girlfriend!

How Not to be Seen

A famous and hilarious sketch that was part of "Monty Python's Flying Circus" in which the narrator, John Cleese attempts to stress the importance of "not being seen". As he asks people to please reveal themselves in a woodland scene, each is either shot, blown up, or somehow otherwise killed in hilarious fashion. Quite possibly the funniest Monty Python sketch ever.

Mr. Nesbit has learned the first lesson of being seen. NOT to stand up. However, he has chosen a very obvious piece of cover...
