non sequitard

A chain of logic with ends so remote that to anybody else it seems to be completely unrelated. Like a wiki walk, but through your head, and there's no history.

Example of a non sequitard:

Alice: Hmm... I think Grassy Knoll Dew would be better than Mountain Dew.
<pause>
Bob: Would walruses fight for us in the zombie apocalypse if we gave them buckets?
Bob: Don't even try to figure out how I got there.

Non-conformist

Anyone who is not swayed by public opinion. They could be the nerdy kids who go to the downtown library or a the religious kid or anyone.
Ironically, there is a sub-set of conformism where people will start wearing all black, get a couple piercings, and start listening to goth music while telling people they are "non-conformists." These people are really, really annoying.

He started listening to Voltaire, he thinks he's such a non-conformist,but he's just following a different crowd.

usually pertaining to fanfiction.
"non-con" is short for "non-consensual" sex, making this a nice way to say "rape".

non-plan

An innocuous and playful way for a new couple to refer to the possibility of procreating. Using this term the couple can discuss the future, and can therefore feel closer to one another, but still use uncertain language to feel less emotionally vulnerable.

Alethaiden: Oh sorry, the non-plan.

non phixion

Rap group from brooklyn consisting of Ill Bill, Goretex, DJ eclipse, and Sabac Red. Most of their beats are produced by Ill Bill's younger brother Necro, who is also an emcee. They rap mostly about kicking ass, and growing up in the Glenwood projects in Brooklyn, where Goretex, Ill Bill and his brother Necro were raised in poverty.

non-mainstream

the opposite of mainstream. usually not the 'trend' and usually not what everybody else is doing. original and individual. can usually be identified as something original and/or something that will probably never become popular, but awesome nevertheless.

mainstream : conformists :: non-mainstream : individuals.

SOMETIMES alternative/emo/indie music. other music, such as pop punk, can be mistaken as non-mainstream.
