Phrase critical of capitalism and damaging consequences of its money mechanism, referring to an incident — particularly a shocking or incredible news story — where money is, or has been, a key factor injurious to people and/or their environment. Examples include harmful business activities conducted for more profit; withdrawn/inadequate state funding for health care or other essential public services; property thefts; muggings etc.

Another fucking train’s been derailed because bosses are more interested in cutting costs than passenger safety! It’s more bloody Capitalist Money Madness!

booth madness

A dissociative state that afflicts cinema staff after too many hours (or days) at the theatre surrounded by underage workers, broken equipment, and apathetic theatre owners. Can be accelerated by OH&S and labour law violations. May result in blindness, death, or Film Done Wrong.
