Homosimpien

A play on Homo sapien, describing a modern human who has evolved primarily to simp, especially in online spaces. Distinguished by excessive thirst in DMs, unpaid OnlyFans subs, and a deep emotional attachment to e-girls, cam models, or fictional characters.

Etymology:
From Latin Homo sapien (“wise man”) + simp (“someone who does too much for a person they like”). Ironically, homosimpiens often lack wisdom.
