A pick me (sometimes spelled as pick-me or pickme) is someone who puts down members of their own identity group for validation from others. Commonly used to refer to women (pick me girls), but can also be seen in others. Pick-me men also tend to be performative males, often pretending to relate to women's problems (most commonly in cis men).
