Peter

Peter will seem good at first. Different than the others, even. He'll make you feel special, and weightless, and like everyone else is blurry and he's the only one in focus. He'll keep this going for a while, until he gets bored of you. Right when you get comfortable, that's when he'll leave, and then you'll realize he was the same as the rest of them all along.

Peter Pan

A Peter Pan is a perpetual loser, typically a guy in his 30s that still lives with his mother with no intention of ever moving out or getting a job because his mother has supported him all of his life.

A Peter Pan is an individual that has possibly managed to get a girlfriend beyond all of this, to which she thinks she will be able to change him, but without a reason to change he will most likely stay a boy forever. Any attempts the girlfriend attempts to leave the toxic relationship are met with threats that the Peter Pan will commit suicide and other narcissistic behavior and "gaslighting", such as implying that she made him the way that he is. The girlfriend is essentially fulfilling the role of second mom.

Though a Peter Pan may have a job, it is most likely low responsibility and minimum wage that he does the bare minimum to keep.

Friend 1: "It's a shame what that girl is going through"
Friend 2: "She's in a relationship with a Peter Pan, she'll die with that loser"

Friend 1: "Just got a dick pic from some dude, he is kind of cute though"
Friend 2: "Girl beware! He is a Peter Pan"
