Nerd Spin the Bottle 

Just like spin the bottle, but with trivia questions! The person spins and is then asked a question, if the question is answered correctly then the two people kiss.

Person 1: Want to play spin the bottle?
Person 2: OK!
Person 3: It's not a very interesting game.
Person 4: What if we asked each other trivia questions and called it nerd spin the bottle?
All: yeah!

nerd phase 

When you go from doing other stuff to doing nerd things for about a week to a month; such as jailbreaking your iPod Touch, or Youtubing videos on help on how to do something with your device. After you lose interest, you go back to the same old normal stuff you do.

Mark: Dude, you should come chill with us.

Tim: Nah, I think I'm gonna jailbreak my iPod Touch this week.

Jeff: He's on his nerd phase.

nerd-trend 

A trend that is inherently nerdy. A nerd-trend occurs when a lead nerd decides on a new nerd activity to partake in such as online chess or scrabble. Once the activity is celebrated by the lead nerd and fellow lead nerds, sheep nerds with invariably begin to participate, leading to a nerd-rush of activity, and an eventual nerd-movement toward the next activity the lead nerd decides upon.

nerd-trends have become even more mainstream as a result of the internet and online games. Facebook applications are also at fault for many nerd-trends that have resulted in the last 5 or so years.

Marianna: Jonathan, I found this great Facebook app for online scrabble!
Jonathan: Oh goody, let's have a scrabble marathon. Best out of 7 wins!
Marianna: actually, lets look up chuck Norris jokes!

Jonathan: No way Marianna, chuck Norris jokes are an old nerd-trend.

Nerd Swag 

1.) When someone believes him- or herself to be cool, but in actuality he or she is a nerd.
2.) Someone who is so uncool that they are somehow cool.
3.) Being able to be oneself and deviating from the norm without justification or apology, but being able to pull it off.

1.) Joslyn fancies herself to be all that and a bag of Doritos, but she's such a nerd! She has nerd swag!

2.) It's not that Elijah is a total nerd. He just really knows how to rock that nerd swag.

3.) Joslyn had to call Elijah to tell him about this great new show she watched called Charles in Charge, and when she called him he was watching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III on VHS. They have nerd swag.
