Balqis

Balqis is a name dedicated to only the kindest and softest of souls. She is always funny, always beautiful and is always ready to listen and lend a shoulder. She collects many hobbies and is extremely passionate about them until she burns out and moves on to the next one. She always knows exactly what to say to cheer you up and to have her as a friend is a blessing. Very few get the honour of hearing her truly laugh, and you're very lucky if you're the cause of it. Ark Bar Olympics

The Ark Bar Olympics is some of the greatest horseplay of all time. The Inaugural event takes place in Koh Samui, Thailand, because only the Vs are going to Canada. It is when the rock lads take over the pool, get four towers of chang (3 litres) which is then put on the bar. Then in teams of 6 a relay is done where you have to swim the length of the pool, pour yourself a pint and absolutely fucking send it. Rock chants are just going the whole time, men just bleeding blue and white left, right and centre. A video is then sent to the union also. The first ever winners of the Koh Samui Cup; Ste Campbell, Dave Heavey, Johnny Fairney, Andrew Doherty and Mark Dunne got Koh Samui Cup 19 tattooed on their legs in Thai just to represent for the boys.

Pull a Barefield

To disappear so completely and suddenly from a social gathering without anyone realizing it that even your closest friends aren't sure you were ever really there. May also refer to never answering calls, emails or texts for the purpose of not having any fun of any kind with friends to concentrate solely on school or work.

- "Dude, I swear Lisa was right here next to me just a second ago."
- "Don't worry, you're not going crazy; she's been known to pull a barefield at every party she goes to."

I've been trying to get a hold of Dave for weeks to hang out, but with the MCAT coming up, he's been pulling one heck of a barefield on me.

Ldnb is a sub-genre of Drum & Bass. It's the best. It's just so peaceful; tranquil and majestic. I love it. No matter how hard of a time you are experiencing, you simply need to play some choons and you suddenly get whisked away into the limitless cosmos where only happiness exists. You need a bass implementation device in order to truly experience it, though, since the basslines are a huge factor in how the music heals the soul.
