When someone avoids you or gives you the cold shoulder due to a significant other, boyfriend, girlfriend, etc. It also implies to people who hang out with their lover and avoid their own friends. (Also referred to as *Simon Syndrome*)

Friend 1: Ugh, ever since Simon started going out with her he's been avoiding all his friends and homies just to spend time with her.

Friend 2: Oh that's definitely *Lover Syndrome*. Guy wants to be around her so much he'll avoid his own friends and ignore them.
