After Belgg reached adulthood he joined the military hoping to earn everyone's respect, however he was kicked out for his aggressiveness towards axes. However when the Holy War came around, they called upon every person in the kingdom to take up arms, and Belgg once again joined the military. After much success he became one of Idroyn's best generals and earned the respect of his peers. At a party the king held, Belgg met the king's daughter Marya, and they fell in love. They got married and eventually they ruled over Idroyn. Together they had a son named Telphyt
