In the upper peninsula of Michigan this has been used to designate a male person, or descendant of such, who has immigrated from Cornwall, England. The feminine form is 'cousin jenny.' These terms are often capitalized.

The famous pasty was brought to the upper peninsula of Michigan by the cousin jacks.
