Get the unanime valleymug. A desert valley located between the rocky mountains, (Sangre de Cristo's to the east, San Juans to the west) indeed known mainly for it's crime, drugs, UFOs, paranormality overall, gangs, poverty, and outdoor wilderness that draws in those who seek recreation, and rugged living. The harsh environment keeps this land from becoming infected by the viral disease known as Yuppies that has infested other Colorado towns and cities.

Nothing you'd expect in Colorado. Basically New Mexico North.
Still like it here more than Denver and the fools in springs.
Alamosa is the most populous town at 9,800 residents. Monte Vista and Center are other towns with any sizeable population. (not a complaint)
2 weeks with under -20c temperatures on end a year. Colder than Anchorage Alaska.
Where the biggest sand dunes in all of the americas are located.
Overall, the most beautiful, and biggest alpine valley on earth.
Also ALOT of areas without cellphone service.
There's still high speed internet here however ;)

A region of southern California that consists of southern Thousand Oaks/Newbury Park, Westlake Village, Agoura Hills, a little bit of Calabasas, and Oak Park which is actually not apart of this region or county, but is considered one of the region's neighborhoods. Each one of these "communities" has a specific trait:
Thousand Oaks/Newbury Park: Working class Simi Valley - type people
Westlake Village: Skater teens and rich adults
Agoura Hills: Wannabe gangster teens who do drugs and tag walls in parking lots, and redneck adults who are friendly but clueless about these incidents
Calabasas: Rich people but bad schools
Oak Park: Pot heads and insane/unexpected news, like kidnappings and pedophiles
