Get the Steven mug. When a piece of media (most often a show) is objectively badly written, it will garner fans anyway due to mental health awareness and/or LGBTQ representation. Some examples include 13 Reasons Why, Glee Club, and the namesake of this law, Steven Universe. It may also very well be the case that the media has some redeeming qualities, such as good character moments, or good visual composition, however these qualities are a vast minority compared to the objectively bad narratives within the show.
Person A: "I like insert media because it has gays in it!"
Person B: "Is it really good, or are you following Steven's Law?"

Get the Steven mug.Meaning that you’re so drunk you’re prone to accidents.
The phrase was coined by Liverpool’s local newspaper ‘The Liverpool Echo’ following the events of an accidental drunk death which occurred at a Liverpool City Bar in 1897. The man who died was only documented by his surname Steven by the paper. The term was popularised after the paper used the term to describe drunk individuals who suffered accidents of similar severity to Steven.
