At first, Matthew may seem cold and standoffish but that is just because they are in deep thought, pondering how to make life amazing for those around him. And once you become part of his life, it will sure be more amazing than how it was before Matthew. But Matthews have a tendency to care more for other's than themselves, so take care of your Matthews! They are hardworking and loyal and above all trustworthy. You could trust a Matthew with your life and the only thing he'd want in return is to know you'd do the same for him. Matthews make great friends even though they may not be very social. Don't take your Matthew for granted though, because once you have wronged them, they will never forgive you. Respect the Matthew and he will respect you.
