cracker

1. A derogatory term used by historically oppressed people and others to belittle white people.

2. Originally from the sound of a slave master's whip. Has been used to identify oppressive, racist, ignorant, whites.

Whites who feel threatened by these oppressed and disadvantaged people will say that a black person calling a white person "cracker" or "honkey" is the same as a white person calling a black person "nigger." While the derogatory implications are similar, only "nigger" has been used by a people of power to enslave, victimize, rape, inprison, and institutionally oppress blacks. "Cracker" does not have this history.

Very few whites have been called "cracker" and hung afterwards.

There is no such thing as a "Jolly Cracker Bank" for young black children to save their allowance in. Search ebay and you can find a "Jolly Nigger Bank" for your white kids.

A "cracker" is someone who holds the whip to beat his slaves. A "nigger" is the abused slave.

A white/caucasion person with racist or prejudiced views against any non-white person. Typically uses offesive metaphors/jokes when describing another race.

That white guy is a cracker. He always uses "tn"(typical nigger) to describe black people.

Cracker

A racist white person. Don't over generalize and assume all white people are crackers. Crackers are fraudulent, and mask their racsim in the form of seemingly light hearted corny "jokes"(most of the time, and ironically, targeted at black people). Some crackers are not afraid of being called racist, and put their prejudice out the open.

Black person:Ah. Almost time for dinner
Cracker:Well, what are you having?
Black person : Hrm. Good question. I haven't really decided yet.
Cracker:How about fried chicken, watermelon, and kool aid? trololol
Black person:I bake my chicken. Its healthier in my opinion. I like watermelon as much as any other fruit. Go watch the kool aid commercial from the 1970s on youtube. There are no black people in it. And that joke is tired and corny.

cracker

A racist term directed towards white people. Athough it is wrong to use it, using this term is NOT the same as calling a black a nigger. White people generally do not take offense to this word as much as blacks do the word "nigger" because the word "cracker" was not used for centuries to degrade their race and dehumanize their kind. Thus, the word "cracker" is not as taboo as the word "nigger" and is not referred to as the "c-word"
