a purposefully wrong translation.

I thew my mother off my trail when she found the manglation of the dummy diary I had hidden for her.

In Shartak.com this is an example of manglation. "Carved on the wall is some writing in a strange language. It reads 'Humeth Du Dubar, nuhthivarshur Wuhlunorreth.'” It means something, but without a knowledge skill, you will never know.
