Even if everyone else has a good definition, theyre still missing an area specific one. In Western PA, Hoss's is a steakhouse thats all around the area. And with things like Hoss burger, The Hoss(the mascot) and hoss-sauce, its become a Pittsburgh thing that Hoss means dick, cock, penis, etc. Saying hey hoss doesnt have any positive meaning, because its saying hey dick.

A noun, verb, or adjective about a place, person or thing. It can mean lazy, messy, ridiculous, boring, fat, slow, beastly, one who plays cheap by using their superior quality over the other. Basically anything you see wrong in something or someone

Damn, Shaquille O'neal is a hoss all he does is score under the hoop. (uses his sheer size to score)
