Definition: A phrase originating from an old Asian engineering teacher that has now become popular slang among students. It is used to describe a situation or problem that is particularly challenging, complex, or confusing.
Origin: Legend has it that during a particularly tough class, the wise engineering teacher muttered "TC BURR" under his breath while trying to explain a difficult concept. The students found it amusing and started using it to describe anything that seemed overwhelmingly difficult. And thus, a new slang term was born in the halls of the engineering department.
