apophenia

the spontaneous perception of connections and meaningfulness of unrelated phenomena.
Numerology could be an example of this. Also, try playing Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" to "The Wizard of Oz."

Maybe another time

1) Another expression for a simple "no"
2) Who knows? Maybe, he was busy on Thursday
- Do you want to grab a coffee or something after work?
- I'm quite busy today *going home to sleep and then hanging out with my friends, but I will lie to you about it*. Maybe another time, okay?

apatheism

Theist: Believe in Jesus and reform your sinful life! God will throw you in hell!
Atheist: No, religion is a mental disease!

Apatheist: Hey guys, try apatheism. It's very nice. You won't have to care about this issue!

One thing led to another

Used by lazy writers to fill in when they don't care to describe the situation.

"Adolf Hitler's application to art school was denied at the age of eight. One thing led to another, and the United States dropped two atomic bombs on Japan."

^ Great pamphlet, very informative ^

Apathy

A complete lack of emotion or motivation, whether directed towards a person, activity, or object.

While it can often be confused with Stoicism, apathy is much worse than merely not showing feelings, as the person who is apathetic HAS no feelings.
Sadly, the most likely cause of the world's problems is that no one seems to care about anything anymore. Apathy is truly entropy.

Aepoth

A nerd who suddenly grows exceedingly pretentious and acts like he's extremely cool, dispite the fact that everyone laughs at him and takes advantage of him. Much like a tool, or a poser. Takes hiself way too seriously, and whenever made fun of gets really defensive. Tries to drink and "hang" with the other "dudes," giving them the "pound explode," and wearing gym pants from the eighties. Tries to use "cool lingo" at every occaision with laughable effect.
That Aepoth thinks the 80s are the definition of cool.
