Splice

Disgusting word. Sounds weird, and is hard to pronounce to normal people. In the terms of biology, its is the joining of two pieces of DNA after introns are removed.

However, it also stands for creepiness, and being skeeved out.

1) "Ah! I can't believe DNA can actually splice! WIIIIIILD!"

2) "Ew, splice! That's such a weird word, I might shiver with spliceyness."

To fall and slide on the ground quite a distance away from where you expected the fallen object to land, eg lenses, pens, chnibbles, etc.
