shootfire

An expression from the southern United States. An exclamation, "Shootfire!" is like Gomer's two-syllable "Golly" or "Sha-Zam!" It is an expression of excitement and surprise. It is also a more genteel expression denoting some element of disbelief, as opposed to: "You're shitting me!"
Shootfire! Did you see the size of that snake?"
