Blow off some numbers

Brainstorm the numeric value of quantification as a method of relaxation and ascending to a higher state of emotional stability in the workplace.
In Jack in the Box, we used to blow off some numbers at least once per week. Here we are, all VPs now.

Strength in numbers

What Strength in numbers means is a phrase used to express that in a group, far more can be done compared to something alone. Or could be used when referencing a chart or diagram in which one certain thing outweighs the other. Hence, STRENGTH in NUMBERS
1 Alone I know I wouldn't have finished the race, but seeing my teammates running at they're full speed too helped push me through, I guess they're really is strength in numbers

2. Dutch's Gang has been at war with the Pinkertons, but there's only 23 people in the gang and an infinite amount of lawmen! Talk about strength in numbers......

Paint-by-Numbers Math

The way 99.99% students worldwide are taught math in school, with everyone painting the same way, and the few who refuse to conform are ridiculed or marginalized—being an odd in a sea of evens often comes with a stigmatizing price tag or a negative label.
Those who refuse to see “math as problem-solving” (read as “math as rote-learning”) in a first class economy should be prepared to be sacrificed as a dead chicken to scare the monkeys—the paint-by-numbers math strategy is good enough for most Asian high-GDP countries to be ranked among the top ten in international comparative studies like PISA and TIMSS, and to win a few dozen medals at math contests and competitions.

Dropping numbers

As you know, when you go to the bathroom it's either #1 or #2. Dropping numbers refers to doing #2.

The Numbers

Uptown Manhattan, where numbers are used to define streets, not names. Everything above 14th street, more or less. Meaningless jive area, doesn't need to exist.

Everything except New A-Town in Manhattan is "The Numbers"
Guy one: I ain't goin all the way to fourty-deuce, I am staying away from the numbers.

Guy two: Word, screw them. New A-Town pride!

Law of large numbers

The more times you gamble, the lower your probability of winning.
This law is what helps keep casinos in business, and this law works best with "chance" games like Bingo, Keno, and the slot machines, which are ALWAYS the first games that the tourists, women, and old people play.
Haven't heard much about this law working on the Blackjack and Poker tables though.
Too bad the old grannies who plunk their retirement benefits into the slot and Keno machines don't know about or haven't paid close attention to the Law of Large Numbers.

Kicking ass and taking numbers

When you are so good at something, people are lining up to challenge you and you have to give them a number and they have to wait their turn.
