also slang for a drug, "disco kryptonite". In 90's, if the drug was green crystal clear rock substance "kryptonite" is what is was called if you said it out loud in front of people... know as meth. It is the opposite of what it does to superman. GIVES YOU POWER, ENERGY, THE GO GO , GET UP AND DO SOMETHING....

'Kryptnotic' is an adjective that is portmanteau of 'kryptonite & hypnotic'. It describes something or someone that not only makes you weak in the knees, but also mesmerises you.

When Jimin gives you THAT look, it's all over, you can't win...his eyes are kryptnotic.
