Netsturbator

Mostly nonsexual, yet somehow creepier than a Furbie. A blogger who cannot overcome their ego. From copious photos of their pets, to a daily diary consisting of grocery lists and parental disputes about cellphone bills, to linking their daily diaries to every possible filter on the net just so we can ALL see how ugly their spouse is, how bored/boring their cats are, how dorky their office/bedroom is. Prone to posting crude sketches of she-wolves or ultra-close-up selfportraits when zittiness is at apex.

"Have you ever seen confidential's site? That guy's a total Netsturbator! He actually listed his favorite movie as Titanic just to get chicks, and those cat pictures are like 7 years old. His cat's been DEAD for 4 years, man!"

The Act of being enthralled by Netflix's huge selection of movies, television shows, comedy specials and/or clever rating system. The tenacity of this enthrallment is so intense that one forgets to answer calls or text messages and may see like a d bag.This is called being fixated by the Netflix website or simply...being Netfixed.

Trent: Mike...you didn't answer my text.Why you being such a d bag?
Mike: well my good sir, I(stress the I as though trent could never in his life been doing something as important as what mike was doing) was Netfixed.

I was surfing the web at work, but my boss kept coming up to me so I had to netescape.

The guy next to me is always doing crosswords on the web, but he never gets caught. He is totally a netescape artist.

netstream media

Noun, uncountable, mostly plural

1. information outlets disseminated via the Internet, usually associated with (though not necessarily) the highest viewed pages, therefore representing the majority of media that consumers are likely to encounter;

2. any Internet source that presents information in the form of news, reviews, gossip blogs, etc. Examples include Upworthy, XDA Developers, TMZ, among others.

3. compare, 'mainstream media.'

Usage Notes: Not to be confused with Adobe's ActionScript object class, 'Netstream.'

Style Guide: Writers should follow their preferred style guide in determining the singular form for 'netstream media.'
