The contents in Howard Stern's radio talk show were so provocative and offensive that the show lovers and haters can't seem to turn him off but to keep listing to him just to see what he'll say next therefore creating an effect of a hating audience toward a specific entertainer to keep watching or listening to the performance just to see what kind of crap he/she can come up with even though it is not what the audience want.

LonelyGirl15 has a great stern effect on youtube viewers because the people who hate her can't wait to watch her newest youtube videos and leave bad comments about her or her videos.

When somebody starts doing something and everybody else starts to copy them. Named because sheep are followers, and connot make up their own minds.

Suzie: Hey look at Bob waving his arms!
Kimmy: Wow thats so strange
(one person starts waving there arms in a crowd. Soon everybody is waving their arms)
Suzie: Why is everyone waving their arms?
Kimmy starts to wave arms
Suzie: I thought you said it was strange

It happens whenever something funny is presented, then wholly gobbled up by the media and public, excreted into senseless dreck, and then whatever originality and humor was left in the original source of material, has been thouroughly raped into bleeding submission.

Eg; whenever someone says "I'm Rick James B*tch", or anyone makes a quote from Napoleon Dynamite. Particularly "Gosh", or something along those lines.

Quiet Guy Effect

The akward silence followed by hostility that quieter guys experience when talking to a girl. However, if a more outspoken guy says the exact same thing, it is tolerated and often respected. This occurs because of the assumption many (though not all) girls make that guys that don't talk much and keep to themselves are perverted.

Jackass: Care to hear a joke? (tells a dirty joke)

Girl: Hahahaha! That's funny. I'll have to remember that one.

Quieter Guy: (tells same dirty joke)

Girl: You perverted bastard! Is that all you ever think about? You'll never get any if you think jokes like that are funny. Go burn in hell, pervert!

Quieter Guy: Well, I'm probably not going to "get any" anytime soon anyway. God dammit, why do I always cause the Quiet Guy Effect no matter which girl I talk to?
