Forgot how to English

A slang term for when someone stutters or makes a mistake when talking, usually followed by “for a second”. Has a similar meaning to “I can’t words”

P1: “Hey dude, do you know when the team meet is over?”
P2: “It should end at 9:56”
P1: “Thanks lamb”
P2: “Bro, what?”
P1: “I meant man! Sorry, I forgot how to English for a second”
P2: “Haha, it’s okay”
