Cute-rage

The sight of something so effing cute, such as a beagle puppy playing, or any cute puppy, or baby dressed in a onesie that makes them look like a bear or some other fuzzy cute animal. Take an already cute baby, add the onesie multiplier effect and it is too much for most passionate, feeling people to take. Once the cute-rage has occurred, this energy must be dissipated by punching something, typically a large pillow which provides enough resistance for the blows to feel satisfying or hugging the kid/dog so hard their eyes pop out; as this is not an option, you hit the pillow and run around swearing about the cuteness. Cute-rage CANNOT and does not occur with inanimate objects. The DSM only defines cute-rage to occur after seeing a living thing that is off-the-charts cute, or doing something similarly cute.

Holy fawking shit, did you see that four-year-old dressed up as a lion? He had a tail, the hood with ears a la Max from Where the Wild Things Are, whiskers painted on his chubby little cheeks! When he trick-or-treated my house I almost punched a hole in the door from the cute-rage; I was so overtaken by his off-the-charts cuteness! He even growled at me with this little kid voice before the "trick-or-treat".

new cute kid syndrome

when you live in a small town and the variety of potential boy/girlfriends are limited to a bunch of people you've grown up with and everyone seems like a sibling. then a "new cute kid" moves into town and everyone is calling dibs.

"Brandon was a really nice guy from what I knew of him. I was going to ask him out but my 6 other friends already did, obviously a case of new cute kid syndrome."

She's cute

This is usually something a girl says about another girl. It can indicte a number of different things, depending on the context.

For instance, if a girl says this about her ex-boyfriend's current girlfriend, or just a boy she really likes, what she means is that she doesn't feel any strong feelings toward the girl, but feels compelled to say something. This statement is meant to make the boy reflect and realize that A) that's very nice of a girl to compliment another girl and B)Well, yeah, she's cute, but she's not as pretty as (girl who made statement)

In another context, this can also be said of a someone, maybe a whore, that a girl doesn't like but doesn't want to seem nasty. It's always meant to reflect positively toward herself, for boys to take their attention off the "cute" girl and notice how cute the other girl is, or at least how "sweet" and "charitable" it is of her to offer a compliment.

Girl: Who was that, you were with?

Guy: My girlfriend, Kaitlin. We've been together a month now.

Girl: Oh, cool. She's cute.

Guy: Yeah.
