City Syndrome

Noun:

A mental affliction characterized by a self-centered and condescending state of mind produced upon moving to a major city from another town. Those with city syndrome think their city and its inhabitants are better than other places and their populations Thus, they rarely travel and look down on other areas/people.

Particularly present in NYC, this disease is highly resistant to treatment because sufferers rarely acknowledge their pathology.

Friend: (just moved to nyc from nj): I just can't go back to the suburbs anymore. I just can't do it, its way too boring.

Me: Fuck you, you arrogant bastard! You got City Syndrome! Since you moved to NYC from Jersey you think you're better than everyone else. You're not you pompous asshole!

Klinefelter's syndrome

Klinefelter's syndrome, 47, XXY or XXY syndrome is a condition caused by a chromosome aneuploidy. Affected males have an extra X sex chromosome. The principal effect is small testes development and reduced fertility. A variety of other physical and behavioral differences and problems are common, though severity varies and many boys and men with the condition have few detectable symptoms. It is the second most common extra chromosome condition, and is named after Dr. Harry Klinefelter, an endocrinologist at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, Massachusetts, who first described it in 1942. The condition exists in roughly 1 out of every 500 to 1,000 males.

The syndrome of getting your sentences muddled when under pressure or being made nervous, so one sounds like Yoda from Star Wars i.e. when a person you are attracted to starts talking to you.

Josh: What?

I think my brother has Fortnite Syndrome. He’s been playing nonstop ever since we bought the game.

A neurological characterised by involuntary motor and phonic tics. This severe form of tic disorder affects males at approximately thrice the rate of females and is usually chronic.

Mac Syndrome

An affliction that most people, even full-grown adults, suffer from when they receive their first Apple computer. Symptoms of Mac Syndrome include obsessive use of Photobooth and of all its photo-filters, recording videos using the pre-mentioned filters as well, and proceeding to upload every single one to facebook or any other social networking site. While not contagious, it is highly aggrivating, to the point where certain friends of the person may blatantly tell them to stop and shut the fuck up.

Girl: I just got my new iMac! I'm going to invite everyone over and take pictures!

Guy: Awesome, have fun!
