A text message that someone only sends so they can call you when you reply, because now they know your phone is in your hand.

I don’t want to reply to her yet, she always text traps me. Why do we need a 5 minute phone call about something I ALREADY ANSWERED IN MY TEXT?!

Text-lashing

A series of at least three consecutive, uninterrupted texts in which the sender scolds the recipient. Modern day equivalent of a tongue-lashing.

While Randy set down his smart phone for a few minutes to attend to something, his girlfriend used her smart phone to unleash a severe text-lashing over something he had done.

Spazz texting

When someone sends a text message with multiple capital letters and ponctuation. This is usualy the result of being over joyed or texting about something very exciting.

Example 1 : OOOOMMGGGGGGGG !!!!!!!! DID YOU HEARRRRRRR ????!!! THE BAND ONE DIRECTION WON A BRIT AWARD LAST NIGHTTTTTT !!! OMMMGGGGGGGGG <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

Person 1 : Did you about the new song from One Direction ?
Person 2 : Yea me and Sarah were spazz texting about it last night.
