Cheapilarity is a phenomenon that occurs rarely in human society. It is most comonly associated with a low cost item for sale, for which the amount is so cheap that hilarity ensues.

Expert children say that 20% of the time during the years of 1990 and 1998 the most common disappointing 25 cent toy machine item was in fact the plastic mini-slinky. When you get older you buy cheap furniture, cheap equipment, etc. and it breaks or is flimsy can also be considered a "cheapy slinky."
