Chicago politics

A political environment or arena where any scrawny, half black kid from Hawaii can actually profit quite well from shady business deals in the most corrupt city in America...in a system that makes plenty of money for its downtown political and business leaders and their bankrolled "friends" and for the clean white folks who live in the burbs, but leaves its dirt poor and homeless far behind.

Hey everybody, let's let Chicago politics into the White House...and we'll call it "hope"

Chicano

A person of Mexican descent born and raised the United States. Chicano culture is an extension of Mexican culture and a main thread in American culture. They speak both Spanish and English. Another word for Chicanos are Mexican-Americans.

*People of Half Mexican ancestry are widely considered Chicanos also, but also can be Mixed Race.

George Lopez was born in Los Angeles to Mexican parents. This makes him a Chicano.

Chicago

What many people don't address when describing Chicago is that the majority of white people in this city are very obviously ignorantly and at times maliciously racist. Also the general culture of this city shows hostility, pretentiousness, and extreme cultural narrow-mindedness. In any area of the city, people are overly sensitive to outsiders, even in areas that are mostly inhabited by people from the suburbs, such as Lincoln park. Anyone who fails to see this either benefits from the white privilege, is part of one of the many cliques, or is sociologically and culturally blind.

If you vote down for this definition of Chicago, you are in extreme denial.

chicago bears

A "professional" football team from the NFC North division of the NFL, hailing from Chicago Illinois, the armpit of America. The Bears are one one of the most overrated teams in NFL history. The only admirable records the Bears hold are due to longevity in the league. The Bears believe in running the football and playing tough defense, which is fitting since they hail from crime ridden Chicago where many of their fans must do the same. The Bears won 9 total championships, but have managed only one Superbowl despite being one of the top ten wealthiest NFL teams. The Bears have not fielded a decent offense, EVER. The Bears fanbase are a bunch of racist and obnoxious people who live in the "City of Big WOMEN Shoulders" and who also enjoy throwing cups of beer at little old ladies in the stands at their home dump, Soldier Field. The Bears are the only team in the NFL who have a recorded song named after them, which is "The Bears Still Suck" by the Happy Schnapps combo. The Bears organization is usually heavily influenced by their city's pompous media.
