Someone who supports the empowerment of women. Traditionally to the point of equality with men. Some go too far, many don't. Not to be confused with Feminazi; women who take feminism too far and assault men, and who are used as a straw-man argument by neck-beards who are intimidated by something they don't understand (women).

An individual who believe that men and women are of equal competence and mental strength and should be treated as such. Believes that a man is an incompetent individual only if there is proof that he is, not just because he is a male. Will get fed up with almost every definition of feminist on Urban dictionary. If any of the above are not true of an individual, THEY ARE NOT A FEMINIST.

I am a feminist, therefore I believe that in court if a male and female individual commit the same crime, they should have the same sentence no matter what gender they are.

a feminist just wants equal opporutnities to men. They don't hate men, and accept, and like chivalry and many men are also feminists and think women should be paid as much as men. Feminism means that if men cant hit women, women cant hit men. That male rape victims are just as important as female ones, and that it is DEFINITELY not their fault. Feminism

By definition, feminism is a form of equality. Many people agree and disagree with it.
Many men who disagree with feminism will say stuff like "She just can't get laid" or "I bet she's just a lesbian" (as-if wanting to fuck pathetic people is something anyone would want to do, the world doesn't want your dick.)
Note that both of the things above, I've seen well over 5 times.
Feminists are typically described by anti-feminists as "Ugly", "fat", and lastly a "dumb bitch" The first two shouldn't affect whether the persons opinion is valid or not.
What side you choose is your choice, just remember we're all human.
