Grumman LLV

The Grumman LLV (long life vehicle) is a compact, right-hand-drive mail truck designed specifically for the United States Postal Service (USPS) and introduced in 1986. Waiting for a letter from my pen pal in Brazil, I stood at the mailbox for 2 and a half hours as i was exited to get a response from him. Then an old slightly beaten up Grumman LLV appears from the corner, it’s brakes screech as the vehicle came to a full stop. the driver an old white guy in his late 70’s open the door of the LLV and said “are you Mandy McAdams”. I said “yes that’s me” then he hands me my letter and then I opened the letter excitedly to see what my pen pal said.
