Red Daesh is a term used among Middle Eastern Communist and Socialist circles referring to a group of leftists who romanticize Islamic chauvinism by attempting to coat it with leftist veneer.

Red Daeshis tend to hold similar beliefs to the Islamic State (ISIS) especially towards women and religious minorities while portraying themselves as revolutionaries (redwash). Daesh is the Arabic acronym for ISIS, ad-Dawlah al-Islamiyah fi al-Iraq wa al-Sham.

Person 1: Islam guarantees full rights of religious minorities, they will just need to pay a tax!

Person 2: They are not guaranteed full rights, Jizya forces religious minorities into dhimmitude which leaves them as second class citizens. Stop this Red Daesh nonsense.
