A sudden outburst of temper, often used to describe female anger at something trivial. Originally regional from American South. Thought to originate from hissy fit, a contraction of "hysterical fit."

He threw a diffee Fit when he found out the meeting had been cancelled.

A sudden and random seizure-like event in which you remember someones (usually your enemies) wrong doings. These bitch fits are not controllable most of the time.
