Gallegos Effect

The Gallegos Effect is a well-observed phenomenon that occurs when you are a fat ginger who plays hockey and are neglected by your parents. This occurrence has the result of one becoming a piece of shit who sexually abuses women and being hated by everyone around you, but are somehow not expelled.

Rypl Effect

someone who is not invited or even wanted at an event making a big show of not coming, actually increasing the turnout of other people once they find out the persona non grata will not be there

Lukas didn't get an invite to the party and thought by making a big stink about not wanting to come other people wouldn't come either, but he just set off a Rypl Effect: as soon as everyone heard he wasn't showing up, they came out in droves

They were plagued by a case of the Fellows effect. Needless to say they were late for everything.

It was the Sinclair effect that stranded the boat onto the lee shore; the boat was Sinclaired, hitting the bank and damaging the hull.

The theory that the growth of dreadlocks results in instant athletic prowess, most notably in the game of football.
