Freedom Bands

The neon coloured bands fastened around the wrists of people 21 and older upon entering a club or bar to let the bartenders know that they are allowed to drink alochol. The opposite of Minor Shackles.

A band that is discovered and becomes well-known or famous because of popularity on the internet. An example of a blog band is Vampire Weekend.

I've never heard of that band. Where did you find out about them?
Oh, they're a blog band. They have an elusive post on an obscure blog. There is only one track on it but I swear, they're good.
