Britta is a verb. To "Britta" something is to screw it up, or make a mistake.

The term originated from the NBC sitcom "Community" which aired from 2009-2015.

The term was first used in Season 3 Episode 5 "Horror Fiction In Seven Spooky Steps".

Annie realized that the tests had been put through the machine upside-down. "She Britta'd it," Jeff sighs.

"I can't believe you Britta'd that season! The show's ratings have gone down significantly."
