bed rotting is a depression trait where you stay in bed for days; weeks even. its not ‘watching tiktok and netflix’ its starving laying in bed for hours and days and weeks while garbage and bugs lay on the floor because you can’t physically make yourself get up

Bed rotting

My favorite hobby, real bed rotting when you lay in bed and rot in your depression, sometimes on your phone, watching tv, or my personal favorite combo, listening to music and staring at the ceiling reflecting on your thoughts. Bed rotting goes on hour hours to weeks usually.

The act of being so engrossed in a book , that you forget the outside world and read for hours or days in a comfortable position , mostly a bed . This mostly happens when the book you are reading is very good so you can't put it down or you are reading a series of books and you can't stop till you finish all the books in the series.

Bed rotting is usually a sign of depression or loss of energy. Given the circumstances it means you’ve been in bed for most of the day or days on end. Instead of being a good thing, this makes you feel empty and removes energy to do things; even stuff you love.
