Soft cuddling – a precursor to full blown cuddling. Soft cuddling typically involves only light contact, but that contact is normally sustained for a lengthy period of time. Examples of soft cuddling include resting a head on another’s shoulder, making deliberate (yet avoidable) arm-to-arm contact while seated beside someone, resting a leg on or across another person’s leg, etc. Soft cuddling is one of the subtlest ways to express interest in another, and is typically only used by highly skilled daters.
