Contradaction

Portmanteau of contradiction, (a statement that denies) and redaction, (the combining of multiple source materials into a single work).

A contradaction is a redaction which ultimately causes or requires a contradiction of previously established facts in one or more of its source materials.

All types of redactions, save for simple merged / combinative redactions, are contradictions because they all ultimately cause or require a contradiction to the previously established facts of one or more of the original source materials.
The Gospel Story, as understood and relayed by most Christians, is an effectual contradaction of the Four Gospel accounts; as it is an effectual supersessive redaction which favors the Fourth Gospel over the Synoptics, retroterpreting the Synoptics to match the Gospel of John.
