Get the Chicagoedmug. A city where ethnic groups are not anywhere near spread out evenly, unless "ethnic" means "white" or "black". Known by many (except whites, of course) for being a noticeably "racist city".

Get the Chicagomug. The largest city in Illinois, and the state's unofficial capital. One of the greatest cities in the country, and probably the world. Sure, maybe we're not as flashy or glamorous as New York or L.A., but Chicago is a beautiful place and if you spent one day in the city you'd see why it's residents love it.
There's always something to do in Chicago, so don't go knocking it until you've seen it for yourself.

Get the Chicagomug. If hell could freeze over, it would be Chicago. Horrible public transportation - CTA sucks, if moving there, I suggest you take a car. The weather is miserable, and not just the winters. Oh yeah, and check out the grey, endless flat landscape, inspiring isn't it?
Oh, and don't get me started on the local politics, corruption at its worst. Its most famous gangster, Al Capone, was actually from Brooklyn, moved to Chicago and realized how easy it would be to take advantage of its people.
After hearing so much about how great Chicago was from friends, I came to find out that none of them actually lived in the city. They all live in the fucking suburbs. Hmm, I wonder why?
I must say though, the only redeeming feature of that city is lake Michigan, but I'm sure if given the chance they'll find a way to screw that up too.

Get the chicagomug. What many people don't address when describing Chicago is that the majority of white people in this city are very obviously ignorantly and at times maliciously racist. Also the general culture of this city shows hostility, pretentiousness, and extreme cultural narrow-mindedness. In any area of the city, people are overly sensitive to outsiders, even in areas that are mostly inhabited by people from the suburbs, such as Lincoln park. Anyone who fails to see this either benefits from the white privilege, is part of one of the many cliques, or is sociologically and culturally blind.
