Unc status

Unc status refers to the slang term, unc, which is short for uncle. You typically refer to someone as unc when they are the brother of one’s father or mother, or more commonly when they are an older male mentor/role model. Achieving “unc status”, essentially means that you have fulfilled at least one of those two criterion within someone else’s life.

Person 1: You know man, my oldest brother’s old time mentor has really been helping me out lately. He helped me get in the gym, find a job, and is helping me fix up my car!
Person 2: Now that man has officially achieved unc status.

An adjective and verb, the word "Unce" is used, in adjective form, when something can't simply be described as cool. In verb form, "unce" means that you're going to do something to near perfection.
