shoosh

A "That's What She Said" joke that may be funny if delivered with enough enthusiasm but really doesn't make much sense when you really think about it.

To skillfully deliver a "Shoosh" (also called "Pulling a shoosh") try to find the most random and ridiculous occasions to say "That's What She Said", always respond to statements that include words such as "wet, hard, and meat," then LAUGH YOUR ASS OFF- there's no going back.
"It's sort of by the meat, but up a little bit." (TWSS!!!)
"Let's do it now, it'll be too hard if we wait." (TWSS!!!)
I hope this works, I don't want to get wet again. (TWSS!!!)

No way dude! That was a total SHOOSH!

eats, shoots and leaves

The title of an excellent book. It generally tells about the downfall of british language and punctuation and grammar, etc.
Below is the reason the book is called this. If you don't 'get' it, don't bother reading the book.
A panda walks into a cafe. He walks up to the waiter and orders a chicken sandwich. He eats it, then whips a pistol from somewhere in his fur. He fires two shots into the air, then makes his way to the door. Before he leaves, the waiter runs up to him shouting 'What ARE you doing?!' The panda looks fed up. He whipped out a badly punctuated nature book, then flicked it to the page about pandas. pointing to one part, he told the waiter to read.
The waiter read: 'Panda; eats, shoots and leaves'

THE NEW JERSEY SHORE
by John T. Cunningham
New Brunswick: Rutgers University Press,1958
Pg. 101:
Fast trains to Atlantic City, along with a one-dollar round-trip fare, created the "day tripper," and the "Dollar Excursion" unquestionably (Pg.102--ed.) gave the city its wide popularity. Throughout the 1890's and up until World War I working men had freedom to play only on Sundays. That day, week in and week out, found swaying Atlantic City-bound coaches teeming with Philadelphia families, laden with their "shoe box lunches."... Naturally not all of Atlantic City viewed the "Shoe Box Lunch Set" with favor. Keepers of the swank hotels figured anyone who couldn't come for at least a week should stay home and get rested for his job.
The shore is best in the winter when all the Shoobies and Bennies stay home.
