Rube

Rube: insult, meaning uncultured, undereducated rural person. Often spelled Roob by genuine Rubes. Contrary to popular belief, people who use the term Rube or Roob are subconsciously and ironically self identifying.
“Did you see that Rube in cowboy boots at the co-op yesterday? He definitely had dried manure on his boots,” said the turtleneck wearing San Franciscan to a friend. They were on their way home from Barnes and Noble, carefully zigzagging through the tents and human feces that dominated the landscape.

Feckless Rube

The peak of ignorant dimwitted-ness, the cake taker for adult simpletonry. The feckless rube has nary a shred of understanding of how, when, or why they have grievously revealed their knowledge of the situation at hand to be rapidly approaching zero.

May also be used in playful adoration.
Kyle's such a feckless rube, his dad told him to take his car to get the oil changed and when the tech asked him what kind he wanted he responded with "uhhhh canola?"
