Get the Plankingmug. The act of lying face down on an object while remaining rigid much like a plank of wood. Often, a photograph is taken of this act and posted on social media outlets. Often performed by lying on objects which are either completely awkward or dangerous, such as a basketball hoop or the middle of a road. The origins of planking can be traced back to the "lying down game" which has its roots in Japanese Anime.
Kyle: "Mike, I'm going to go planking on that stop sign over there!"
Mike: ".... dude, you're a faggot, no I will not take a picture of you being a douche bag."
Kyle: "But I will get so many comments on this picture of Facebook!"

Get the plankingmug. When one lies in a stiff horizontal position (sometimes naked) on random objects or in random places. Eg) Walls, hedges, fire hydrants, cars, fences, lights, signs, trolleys etc. Usually accompanied by someone who takes a photo and posts it on the internet.

Get the Plankingmug. Planking is a simple yet effective procedure.
When performing a Plank:
1/ You must always lay face down, ensuring your face remains expressionless for the duration of the Plank.
2/ Your legs must remain straight, and together with toes pointed.
3/ Your arms must be placed by your side, held straight and fingers pointed.
4/ You must make it known that you are Planking. Saying 'I am Planking' will usually get this across. Sternly announcing it will ensure a good result.
5/ Your safety should always be considered. Properly thought through Planking procedures should always go to plan. Never put your self at undue risk.
6/ Every Plank that is captured must be named.
