The excuse used by Hitler to effectively turn democracy in Germany to a dictatorship after he took office in 1933. Hitler removed all other political parties except his own just months after taking his oath of office. Under the cover of patriotism he attacked the German constitution and managed to instigate a book burning of authors regarded as "enemies", banned foreign radio stations, replaced acedemic textbooks with materials promoting Nazi ideologies, passing the Civil Service Act which required teachers to adhere to the new ideologies, passed the Nuremberg Laws which decreed Jews as subjects of the Germans and much more.

Patriotism facilitated the unprovoked German attack on Holland.

While reading these so-called "definitions" I realized that hardly any of you know what a patriot really is. A patriot is a person that loves their country and would do their best to defend it if it came under attack.

A good example is me. I know when those Commie tanks come rolling down the road, I'm going to give them hell!

The Patriot

When a man has sexual intercourse with a woman, he requests or physically suggests that she assume a kneeling position before him pre-climax. He then ejaculates upon her face, aiming for the nose, cheek, and forehead, and retrieves an American styled "confetti popper" from a garment pocket or nearby cabinet/nightstand. He then recites a line from the movie "The Patriot" and yanks the cord, initiating a facial spangling of red, white, and blue confetti.

patriot

Someone who grew up in the rural United States and loves guns, the military, and war above all else. Hates the Constitution, except for the 2nd Amendment, and most everyone else, outside of fellow patriots.

The patriot particularly despises gays, women, minorities, and Muslims. Strongly identifies as Christian but has no idea what Jesus Christ actually said or taught. If Jesus were to reappear on earth, a patriot would consider him a weak, wimpy, cowardly, effeminate, contemptible liberal do-gooder.

1. A patriot never met a war he didn't adore.
2. Real patriots don't do peacekeeping. Peace is for namby pamby girlyboys.
