Imperative command. "shut your mouth!"

Derived from the French language. "Ferme ta bouche!"

Improved upon by an English scholar in June 2005. "Fermoosh" can be used in exasperation and desperation, executed rapidly and decisively in contrast to its cumbersome French counterpart.

Edward is blabbering on like an idiot.

Michelle is exasperated. She decides to make a rapid, decisive imperative command;

"Fermoosh!" she says.

Edward is immediately silenced and peace is restored.

A Ferdowsian is another word for attention-seeker. This kind of person takes thousands of useless photographs and posts them on Facebook. This person is often male. He is also a closet gay.

"Did you see what that puffy Ferdowsian put on Facebook?"

Conflation of emo and feminist: a woman, usually young, who equates the petty annoyances of her everyday life to real and urgent women's issues.

The femonist complained that, at her sucky store-clerk job, that she hates, two older guys had tried to cheer her up.
