One who heeds the call of the wild, succumbing to the compulsion to be outdoors, in the thrall of natural beauty, exposed to sometimes extreme elements.

Your expositionist is the guy with a $800 tent and a $500 car. Easy to spot in a crowd by their unusual tan lines and behavior that includes shifting from foot-to-foot and other uncomfortable fidgeting whenever indoors.
