boomercide

The systematic extermination of all boomers to protect the planet from their destructive behaviors. Some have said that Coronavirus Covid-19 is Earth's first attempt at the boomercide as it has a high mortality rate for boomers but essentially nobody else.
The boomercide will happen when the boomers are taken to an island which will be nuked as the zoomers zoom away on speed boats.

boomercode

Shitty code written by the previous generations of programmers (typically Boomers) that did nothing but produce technical debt for millenials and Gen Z programmers to clean up, thus killing the thrill and joy they expect to find based off of several popular YouTube programmers chronicling their lives at more modern tech companies. Most often you will find this regards developers who were huge advocates of a specific vendor that is notorious for pushing sub-par software packages on the industry for profit (e.g. Microsoft, Oracle, IBM).

Typically stacks filled with boomercode feature a wide set of redundant infrastructure, overengineering, technical debt and obscure proprietary softwares with no real value, such as EDI. The authors of such code typically also mock modern web standards and design practices. All while being unable to give a coherent explanation of their design choices.

50% of the transaction fees paid are likely because of boomercode.
Recruiter: Hey, I've got this awesome job, they're willing to pay relocation fees and triple your salary.
Modern Developer: Sure, what kind of technology are we talking about?
Recruiter: You'll love it, IBM Informix+Oracle, super legacy ASPX, 4gl, a little COBOL. Lots of WCF. 80% of the business logic written in PL/SQL
Modern Developer: So boomercode

Baby Boomer

Baby Boomer- (n) 1. An incompetent, fat, grey, lazy product of the "greatest generation," born between 1941 and 1955. 2. The nemesis of Gen X. 3. Former "Hippie" currently holding tenured academic professorship in disciplines requiring intelligence beyond their predetermined genetic capacity for advanced abstract reasoning. 4. Member of the largest demographic bubble in America that also refuses to retire. See "Viagrant"
1. Mr. Smith, an overweight, diabetic Baby Boomer and father of two comes from a family of accomplished Engineers and WWII veterans, yet, he has held his current position since the mid-1970's as a clerk/supervisor in an area that could easily be automated with computer code.

2. I can't believe that Baby Boomer is still my boss.

3. Not only I will have to pay for this Hippie's Medicare for the next 40 years, but this same Baby Boomer may very well reject my proposal for PhD research because my work would diametrically oppose everything he has championed since Johnson was President of the US.

4. I can't believe I have a Master's degree and military experience, but my boss, Mr. Smith, a Baby Boomer that graduated high school way back in the 60's, just won't retire, thus preventing me from advancing past him, as easily as I normally could!

Boomerwaffen

Typically applies to people 55 and older who support Trump. They have flags attached to their truck and are heavily armed. They generally won't attack because they follow the law and don't want to lose the comfy lives they've built for themselves. They are on standby for when the call is given to start the next civil war. They have a sense of entitlement because their ancestors fought in previous wars for the United States and a lot of them are veterans themselves.
Boomerwaffen will rise up if Trump gives the signal.
